Instructions for Authors

Peer Review:

Journal of Industrial Pollution Control is a peer-reviewed, open access Journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of Pollution Control, Environmental Pollution, and its effects. This Journal provides the rapid biannually publication of articles, with two issues per year, in all areas related to Pollution. It welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence.

Scholarly articles will go through a single blind peer review process while other submissions will be reviewed by the journal editor and managing editor or editorial board member prior to publication. Review processing is performed by the editorial board members of Journal of Industrial Pollution Control or outside experts; at least two independent reviewer's approval followed by the editor is required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript. Authors may submit manuscripts and track their progress through the system, hopefully to publication. Reviewers can download manuscripts and submit their opinions to the editor.
Papers will be peer reviewed by eminent researchers in the chosen field and published approximately in 6-9 weeks from the date of submission.
The ''Industrial Pollution Control'' is using Editorial tracking system for online manuscript submission, review, and tracking. Editorial board members of the journal or outside experts review manuscripts; at least two independent reviewer's approvals followed by the editor is required for the acceptance and publication of any citable manuscript.

Author Guidelines
Journal of Industrial Pollution Control is dedicated to the study of Environmental testing, Water and wastewater treatment, Air pollution control, Environmental awareness and Treatability studies for industrial wastes.
Journal of Industrial Pollution Control encourages Researchers, Scholars and graduate students to submit scholarly articles, critical essays, graduate research results, book reviews, and opinion pieces--related to the Pollution Control--from throughout the world.

Article Processing Charges (APC) :
Journal of Industrial Pollution Control is self-financed and does not receive funding from any institution/government. Hence, the Journal operates solely through processing charges we receive from the authors and some academic/corporate sponsors. The handling fee is required to meet its maintenance. Being an Open Access Journal, we does not collect subscription charges from readers that enjoy free online access to the articles. Authors are hence required to pay a fair handling fee for processing their articles. However, there are no submission charges. Authors are required to make payment (if they are willing to withdrawn the manuscript, then the 219 Euros processing fee has to be paid) only after their manuscript has been accepted for publication".

Average Article prorcessing time (APT) is 55 days

The basic article processing fee or manuscript handling cost is as per the price mentioned above on the other hand it may vary based on the extensive editing, colored effects, complex equations, extra elongation of no. of pages of the article, etc.

All scholarly articles should adhere to the following guidelines:

Articles and essays must be written according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, latest edition.
Articles should include: (a) article title, (b) author name's, (c) current position/affiliation, (d) brief biography, (e) email and mail addresses, (f) a brief abstract, (g) five to ten keywords reflecting the contents of paper, and (g) the URL for author's personal web page.
Submissions must be in camera-ready format and include tables, graphs, charts, etc. within the text.
Although there is no absolute limit on length, submitted papers should be confined to approximately 7000 words.
Authors are expected to carefully proofread their work before submission.
Articles that do not conform to the stated submission guideline will be returned to author's for revisions.
Authors are responsible for obtaining any necessary permission from copyright holders for reproducing previously published material, including charts, graphs, photos, tables, etc.
Authors should consider including links to any references, web pages, or sites related to their work (this is a strong advantage of electronic publications).
Manuscripts must be submitted to the Guest Editor electronically via email, CD, or HD disc in Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, or text format.
Authors are strongly urged to not use the automated footnoting feature in Word or WordPerfect as these do not import well into HTML format.  Simply type the endnotes and footnotes at the end of the article per APA guidelines (http://www.apastyle.org).

Scholarly articles will go through a single blind peer review process while other submissions (invited papers and commentaries) will be reviewed by the journal guest editor and managing editor prior to publication.
Authors should not submit their articles to more than one edition of the journal simultaneously.
Invited articles may vary in length but should follow the above guideline. Authors are highly encouraged to include related and useful web links in their work. This would certainly allow the Journal to maximize its potential by offering authors, readers, researchers, students, and professional’s immediate access to a wide range of existing electronic resources and web sites. In many respects, the prospects for electronic publications are indeed revolutionary and exciting.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
